is excited to announce the addition of three seasoned professionals to its leadership team. Joining the company are Dax Simpson as the Director of Platform Delivery and Maria Kenny and José Buganza Debernardi as Board Managers.

Dax Simpson is a highly experienced professional with 17 years in the Data Center Infrastructure industry. He excelled as the Commercial Management Leader at Grupo UPS of Panama before transitioning to Kio Networks, where he rose to the positions of Regional Infrastructure Manager, Data Center Operations Manager, and Infrastructure Director. Dax then joined Digital Bridge, achieving success as VP of Edge & Mission Critical Solutions at Mexico Telecom Partners and later as Head of Mexico and Director of LATAM Business Development at Scala Data Centers. With a Computer Science Engineering degree, an MBA in Enterprise Management, and a High Management Program Degree from IPADE Business School, Dax now serves as Executive Director of Platform Delivery at Layer 9 Data Centers, leading engineering, construction, and consultative technical sales to deliver cutting-edge solutions that exceed client expectations.
Maria Kenny joins the Layer 9 team as a Board Manager, bringing a wealth of knowledge in real estate and data center operations. Known for her instrumental role in the IPO and subsequent sale of DuPont Fabros Technology, Maria has a proven track record of driving value. In her new role, Maria’s extensive experience in technology real estate, and unwavering dedication to excellence will make her a valuable addition to the Layer 9 executive team.
José Buganza Debernardi, with 30+ years of diverse industry experience, notably in the energy sector, and a significant role in Mexico’s energy reform, will also join the Layer 9 team as a Board Manager. His knowledge in electricity, regulation, and project evaluation coupled with his leadership skills will significantly benefit Layer 9’s Board of Managers.
